Located in Sairee on Koh Tao, Island Muay Thai training facility provides the Island of Koh Tao with all the needs for visitors, locals and local fighters!

Established in 2002, Island Muay Thai is the first Muay Thai training camp.

With a combined 350+ fight experience our staff will ensure your techniques are correct and that you have a thorough exercise session.

Kru Rin is one of the most experienced trainers on the island, with over 30 years working with Muay Thai.

His gym has been operational for the last 20 years and he has played an important role in organising the regular fight nights on Koh Tao, with many of his students participating (and winning!).

						Great first taste of Muay Thai! I paid for a private 1 hour session (~£14) which I felt was really good value!  The instructors are really friendly and push you to get the most out of it. By the end of it I was exhausted but definitely got the bug and would love to train again! My sister and I got pushed to our limits and were dripping with sweat by the end, but by George was it worth it! Especially when you can walk 5 minutes to the sea straight after! I feel as though if I was to fight a version of myself who hadn’t done this class, I would whoop him!

						Yesterday I spent 1 hour in a private lesson with Tamp (forgive me if the spelling is incorrect) He checked out my capabilities as a beginner and improved my technique, teaching me and drilling some new skills. As always with Muay Thai, it’s still an intense workout but genuinely thoroughly enjoyable and safe for people like me who are relatively new.

We are located towards north Sairee about 30 metres past Asia Divers Resort turning. Continue on the main road where you will see the gym on the right hand side.

Opening times:

Monday - Saturday
Group Class: 8:00am and 4:00pm
Private Class: 10:00am and 6:00pm
